Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41036-4 Cat8.1 2 m F/FTP wit

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41036-4 Cat8.1 2m F/FTP White is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for environments requiring very fast data transfer and strong protection against interference. Manufactured to Cat8.1 specification, this 2-metre cable uses F/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain signal integrity and reliable connections in home and office networks.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable delivers high bandwidth and low latency suitable for modern network demands while F/FTP shielding minimizes electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide stable contact resistance and corrosion resistance for long-term reliability. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and neat cable management, and the white jacket blends unobtrusively into many interior settings.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, routers and servers
• Home office networks and multimedia streaming
• Data transfer-intensive applications such as backups and file sharing
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Length: 2 metres
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the other device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid excessive bending or crushing; keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic noise where possible to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 cable in shielded or minimally noisy environments and ensure connected hardware supports the required speeds. Avoid tight bends (bend radius less than the cable diameter) and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures to maintain cable longevity.
