Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41041 blauw 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41041 Blue 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in environments that require reliable data transfer and robust shielding. This 3-meter cable meets Category 8.1 performance parameters and uses F/FTP (foil screened overall with individually foil‑shielded pairs) construction to minimize electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to ensure stable connection and low contact resistance for demanding network applications.

Advantages

Cat8.1 performance supports high bandwidth and low latency suitable for data centers, server rooms, and high-performance workstations. F/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity over the full length. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide corrosion resistance and consistent conductivity to maintain throughput. The 3 m length offers flexible placement options while the blue PVC jacket provides visible identification in structured cabling.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links up to 40 Gbit/s in short-reach applications
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections in rack environments
• High-bandwidth workstation connections for video editing and large file transfers
• Shielded installations where EMI/RFI suppression is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding type: F/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s (40 Gbit/s) in supported conditions
• Jacket color: blue
• Conductor: twisted pair copper

How to use

Insert each end of the cable into the RJ-45 ports of your devices—such as switches, routers, servers or network cards—until the connector latches securely. Ensure both connected devices support the desired data rate and that port configurations are compatible with Cat8.1 cabling. Route the cable avoiding tight bends, excessive tension, and proximity to strong electromagnetic sources despite its shielding. For rack-mounted equipment, use cable management ties or trays to maintain proper bend radius and airflow.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short-reach, high-bandwidth links in controlled environments. Verify device port specifications and firmware settings to ensure 40 Gbit/s operation where supported, and avoid mechanical strain or sharp bends that could damage the cable or connectors.
