Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41044 rood 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41044 Red 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments where maximum data throughput and signal integrity are required. Built to Cat8.1 specifications, the cable supports very high transmission rates and improved shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The 3 meter length suits short runs between network devices while the red jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and wiring setups.

Advantages

F/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to provide enhanced protection against external noise and near-end crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for longer service life. The Cat8.1 design supports high-frequency performance required by modern data center and high-bandwidth applications, while the flexible jacket and standardized connector form factor allow easy installation in racks and workstations.

Suitable for

• Short high-speed links between switches, servers and patch panels
• High-bandwidth applications such as 25/40 Gbps connections where supported by hardware
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and clear cable identification

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil shield + individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 meters
• Jacket color: red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network interface of a router, switch or server and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure both connected devices support the required speed and settings for Cat8.1-class links if higher-than-gigabit throughput is needed. Route the cable so it is not pinched or subjected to sharp bends; maintain gentle bend radii near connectors and through cable trays. For organized installations, label both ends and secure the cable with cable ties or Velcro straps without excessive compression.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-performance runs in racks, data centers, or desktop environments. Verify device compatibility for multi-gigabit operation, avoid tight bends and prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures, and keep connectors clean to maintain optimal signal quality.
