Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41053-2 groen 5m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41053-2 Green 5m Cat8.1 F/FTP is a high-performance network patch cable engineered for demanding wired connections. Conforming to the Cat8.1 specification with F/FTP shielding and terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 5-metre cable supports high-speed data transfer and reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable's green jacket provides a visible, organized appearance for structured cabling or desktop setups while maintaining the electrical and mechanical characteristics required for modern networks.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 F/FTP cable offers improved crosstalk suppression and external noise protection through foil-shielded twisted pairs and an overall shield. Its 5 m length balances reach with minimal signal loss for short to medium patching runs. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common switches, routers, network interface cards and patch panels. The green outer jacket makes cable tracing and color-coded installation straightforward without compromising performance.

Suitable for

• High-speed local area network (LAN) connections in data centers and server rooms
• Connections between switches, routers and network appliances requiring low interference
• Home or office workstations needing reliable wired Ethernet for gaming, streaming or large file transfers
• Structured cabling where color-coding simplifies identification and management

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall shield with individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 5 metres
• Jacket colour: Green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your switch, router or network card and plug the other end into the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish reliable physical contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling, or places with strong electromagnetic sources to preserve signal integrity. For installations in cabinets or racks, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium-length patch runs where high bandwidth and minimal interference are required. Avoid kinking the cable or exposing it to temperatures and conditions beyond standard indoor operating environments. For optimal performance, pair with equipment that supports high-speed Ethernet and proper shielding.
