Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41053 groen 5m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41053 Green 5m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in home and professional environments. This 5-metre cable follows Cat8.1 specifications and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, while RJ-45 connectors with gold plating support reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The bright green jacket makes cable routing and identification easier without compromising performance.

Advantages

The cable provides very high data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and is built to meet Cat8.1 electrical characteristics for low latency and high bandwidth. F/FTP shielding (foil around each pair plus an overall foil) improves immunity to external noise and crosstalk in dense installations. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time. The 5 m length offers flexibility for desktop, rack, or patch panel connections where a mid-range cable run is required.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links in data centers and server rooms
• 10G/25G/40G-ready local area network connections
• Home offices, workstations, and multimedia setups
• Patch panels, switches and routers requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Category 8.1 (Cat8.1)
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil plus individual pair foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 metres
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Color: green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or network card) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure that both endpoints support the required speeds and that the connected equipment is properly grounded when using shielded cabling to maintain the shielding effectiveness. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight coils; secure it with cable ties or clips as needed to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in shielded network environments and pair it with compatible shielded components. Verify device compatibility for 25G/40G links and maintain proper grounding of racks and metal enclosures to preserve shielding benefits.
