ACT grijs 1,5 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patchkabel rastongebonden met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Grey 1.5 meter LSZH S/FTP CAT6A patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors provides a 1.5 m connection for high-speed network equipment. The cable uses a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket to reduce the release of toxic gases in the event of fire or electrical failure, and S/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and durability for reliable data transmission.

Advantages

LSZH outer jacket lowers the risk of hazardous fumes in poorly ventilated environments such as aircraft, trains and vehicles. S/FTP shielding protects against crosstalk and external interference, while snagless RJ45 connectors prevent plug-tab damage during installation. The CAT6A specification supports higher data rates over short to medium distances, and the gold-plated contacts enhance signal quality and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack connections
• Office and home network links between switches, routers and patch panels
• Environments with limited ventilation (transport vehicles, confined rooms)
• High-performance Ethernet using CAT6A equipment

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to your network device (switch, router, patch panel) and the other to the target device (computer, server, access point). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid excessive bending and mechanical strain; maintain proper cable management in racks or enclosures to preserve shielding and signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this CAT6A S/FTP LSZH patch cable for connections up to typical Ethernet distances and within patching fields. Avoid sharp bends, kinking, and prolonged exposure to heat sources. In installations requiring flexibility, verify bend radius limits and consider cable routing that minimises tension on connectors.
