Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41061 7,5m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41061 7.5m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is engineered for high-speed wired connections in home and professional environments. This blue cable supports the Cat8.1 standard and uses F/FTP shielding to minimise electromagnetic interference, while RJ-45 connectors with gold plating help ensure consistent contact and reliable signal transmission. It is rated for data transfer speeds up to 40000 Mbit/s and is designed for applications that require low latency and high bandwidth over short to medium cable runs.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables and electronic equipment. The Cat8.1 specification enables higher frequencies and increased data throughput compared with earlier categories, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide corrosion resistance and stable connections. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for routing between racks, desks and network equipment without excessive cable slack.

Suitable for

• High-speed internet and broadband connections
• Data centres and server-to-switch links over short distances
• Home offices and professional workstations requiring low latency
• Streaming large media files and backups across a local network

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Colour: blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch or network card) and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to maintain stable contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain a minimum bend radius recommended for twisted-pair cables to preserve performance. For installations near potential sources of interference, position the cable to reduce parallel runs alongside power lines.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium runs where high bandwidth and low latency are required. Maintain gentle bends, avoid stretching the cable, and secure connections at both ends. If extending beyond typical Cat8 distance recommendations, consider using suitable active equipment or fibre links for longer runs.
