Netwerkkabel Goobay 1,5m CAT6a-150 geel

The Goobay 1.5m CAT6a-150 networking cable in yellow is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed wired data transmission. It measures 1.5 metres and uses RJ-45 connectors on both ends, meeting the Cat6a standard to support network speeds up to 10 Gbps where infrastructure permits. The cable’s SSTP (screened shielded twisted pair) and PIMF (pair in metal foil) construction reduces electromagnetic interference while offering flexibility for typical home, gaming and office installations.

Advantages

The cable provides Cat6a performance with SSTP/PIMF shielding for improved signal integrity in environments with potential interference. Its 1.5 m length is convenient for connecting devices within a room without excess slack. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled equipment. The yellow jacket improves visibility for easy identification in cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, gaming consoles and smart TVs to routers or switches
• 10 Gigabit local networks where Cat6a support is available
• Home and small office wired networks requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (router, switch or network card) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the connected device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for best performance. For permanent installations, avoid stretching the cable and secure it with cable ties or clips as needed.

Recommendations

Use this Goobay CAT6a-150 cable for short in-room connections where shielded cabling helps maintain signal quality. Confirm that other network components support Cat6a/10 Gbps speeds to achieve maximum performance.
