Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41063-2 groen 7,5m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41063-2 Green 7.5m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments. Built to the Cat8.1 standard, this 7.5 metre cable supports high bandwidth and low-latency data transfer for modern LANs and server connections. The F/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while the RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide universal compatibility with network switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards.

Advantages

The cable's Cat8.1 specification enables higher frequency operation and stable transmission rates suitable for 25/40 Gbps applications over short links. F/FTP construction — foil shielding for the overall cable plus foil shielding for each twisted pair — improves resistance to external interference and internal pair-to-pair crosstalk. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility in rack and desktop setups, and the green jacket makes it easy to visually identify runs in multi-cable installations. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure simple plug-and-play deployment without special adapters.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN backbone connections in data centers and server rooms
• Direct-attached short links between switches and routers
• Workstation and desktop wiring where higher bandwidth and shielding are required
• Patch panels and structured cabling where color-coding helps cable management

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Green
• Typical use: Short-range high-frequency Ethernet links (up to specified Cat8.1 distances)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router, NIC or patch panel) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks in the cable and keep the cable runs clear of strong electrical noise sources. Use the green color to route and label cable runs within racks or under desks for easier identification during maintenance.

Recommendations

For best results in high-speed applications, limit direct-attached runs to distances appropriate for Cat8.1 cabling and follow your network equipment vendor's guidance on supported link lengths and data rates. When installing in dense cabling environments, maintain proper bend radius and grounding practices to preserve shielding effectiveness.
