Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41071 blauw 10m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41071 Blue 10m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable provides a high-performance wired connection for modern networks. This blue Cat8.1 cable is built with foil-shielded twisted pairs and an overall foil shield (F/FTP), minimizing electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. It supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for reliable contact and improved corrosion resistance. The 10 meter length offers flexibility for connecting devices across larger rooms or between network equipment racks.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 specification and F/FTP design ensure improved signal integrity and reduced external interference compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent electrical contact and durability under repeated plugging cycles. A 10 m length balances reach and cable management, while the blue jacket allows for easy visual identification within structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections between switches, routers and servers
• Data centers and server rooms requiring shielded cabling
• Home or office networks where high bandwidth is needed for streaming, large file transfers, or online gaming
• Temporary or permanent installations that benefit from a distinct cable color for organization

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + foil around each pair)
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, server or network card) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to guarantee a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; use cable ties or cable organizers to maintain tidy runs and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in shielded or earthed environments and avoid running it in parallel with high-power electrical lines. Verify that connected network equipment supports the desired speeds and configure network settings accordingly. Regularly inspect connectors and cable jacket for damage and replace if wear or corrosion is observed.
