Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41081-2 15 m Cat8.1 F/FTP blauw

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41081-2 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP Blue networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in home or professional network environments. Built to Cat8.1 specification with F/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 15-metre cable supports demanding data transmission tasks while maintaining signal integrity. The blue jacket provides a clear visual identification within structured cabling runs.

Advantages

The cable's Cat8.1 standard enables high bandwidth and low latency suitable for modern LAN and data center applications. F/FTP shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference and minimizes crosstalk between pairs, which helps preserve signal quality over the full 15 m length. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure straightforward plug-and-play installation with compatible devices and patch panels. The flexible outer jacket simplifies routing through racks, conduits, and cable management systems.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links within buildings and server rooms
• Patch panels, switches and routers requiring Cat8.1-rated cabling
• Home offices and professional workstations demanding low-latency connections
• Structured cabling where shielded cables are preferred to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall with individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Blue
• Suitable transmission: High-frequency Ethernet and multi-gigabit applications

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or network interface) and the other plug to the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated to achieve reliable contact. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive compression; maintain recommended bending radius for shielded twisted-pair cables to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal performance. For best results, pair the cable with compatible shielded sockets and equipment grounded according to installation standards.

Recommendations

Use the cable in indoor environments and avoid exposure to prolonged direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. When installing in mixed-cable trays, keep powered cables separated where possible and follow local installation codes for grounding and shield termination to ensure optimal performance.
