Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41083-2 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP groen

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41083-2 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP Green networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office environments. Compliant with Cat8.1 standards, this cable supports advanced data transmission requirements and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends to ensure compatibility with a wide range of network devices. The F/FTP shielding structure reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping maintain signal integrity across the 15 meter length. The green outer jacket provides visual identification within cable bundles or structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 specification enables higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with earlier twisted-pair categories, suitable for demanding network tasks. The F/FTP shielding — an overall foil shield combined with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs — enhances protection against external noise and pair-to-pair interference, which contributes to stable throughput and reduced packet loss. RJ-45 terminations make the cable usable with common routers, switches and network interface cards without adapters. The 15 m length balances reach and signal quality for typical room-to-room or rack-to-desk connections.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Home office and small business network links requiring secure, low-interference cabling
• Structured cabling runs where a distinctive colored cable improves organization
• Applications that benefit from Cat8.1 bandwidth and improved shielding

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil shield + individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Length: 15 meters
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Green outer jacket

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device such as a router, switch or network interface port and the other end to the corresponding device or patch panel. Ensure that connector plugs are fully inserted and the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends or tight kinks that could degrade performance. When used in longer structured runs, maintain proper separation from power cables and strong electromagnetic sources to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal stability.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium-length runs where high bandwidth and reduced interference are required. Avoid repeated flexing near connector ends and keep the cable away from high-voltage equipment to maintain long-term performance.
