Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41084 rood 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41084 Red 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is engineered for high-speed wired connections in environments that demand low latency and reduced crosstalk. Compliant with Cat8.1 performance characteristics, this 15-metre cable uses F/FTP shielding to protect individual twisted pairs and the overall cable from electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance, while the red jacket makes the cable easy to identify within complex installations.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding improves signal integrity by combining an overall foil wrap with individual pair shielding, reducing external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. The Cat8.1 specification supports higher frequency ranges suitable for multi-gigabit and low-latency applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact reliability and durability over repeated insertions. The 15 m length covers extended runs without the need for intermediate patching, and the colored jacket aids cable management and visual identification.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN links between switches, routers, and servers
• Data center patching and rack-to-rack connections
• Home office and professional workstations requiring stable wired networks
• Multimedia streaming, online gaming, and video conferencing setups

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 performance
• Length: 15 metres
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil overall + foil on individual pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable jacket colour: Red

How to use

Connect the gold-plated RJ-45 plugs to the corresponding Ethernet ports on your network devices, ensuring secure seating on both ends. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines or large transformers. For rack installations, secure the cable with appropriate management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors and maintain consistent performance over time.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in shielded or well-grounded installations and avoid tightly coiling the cable. Verify that connected devices and intermediate hardware support the desired multi-gigabit speeds; otherwise, overall link speed is limited by the lowest-rated component in the network path.
