Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41150-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP 1,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41150-2 Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is a 1.5 m Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office environments. It uses Cat8.1 specification and F/FTP shielding to support fast data transfer while reducing electromagnetic interference. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 connectors and the conductors feature copper plating to ensure good conductivity and reliable signal transmission.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually foiled pairs to limit crosstalk and external EMI, improving signal integrity over short runs. The Cat8.1 specification supports higher bandwidths and data rates suitable for modern networking demands. Copper-plated conductors and standard RJ-45 terminations provide compatibility with a wide range of network devices while maintaining low contact resistance.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between switches, routers, and servers
• Home networking for streaming, gaming, and large file transfers
• Office workstations and desktop connections requiring stable wired links
• Short-run connections in server rooms and telecom closets

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Conductor finish: copper-plated conductors
• Use case: designed for high-bandwidth short-distance Ethernet links

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the cable to your network device (switch, router, modem, or network interface on a PC) and the other end to the corresponding device or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cable to maintain shielding and conductor integrity. For best performance, keep the cable run short and away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth connections (typically within a single rack or between adjacent equipment). Do not exceed recommended bend radius and avoid running the cable in parallel with high-power electrical lines to minimize interference.
