Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-41152-2 Cat8.1 1,5 m geel

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41152-2 Cat8.1 networking cable is a 1.5 m yellow patch cable designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office environments. Constructed to Cat8.1 specification, it provides a shielded F/FTP structure with individually foil-shielded pairs and an overall foil shield to reduce electromagnetic interference. Terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and copper conductors, the cable supports high bandwidth and stable signal transmission for modern networks.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 rating and F/FTP shielding deliver improved noise immunity and lower crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, making it suitable for demanding data tasks. Copper conductors and plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable connectivity and reduced signal loss. Its 1.5 m length balances flexibility and minimal excess cable for tidy installations, and the bright yellow jacket aids quick identification in crowded cable runs.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links in home networks
• Gigabit and multi-gigabit office network connections
• Connecting network switches, routers, NAS devices, and desktops
• Short runs where shielded cabling is preferred to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Length: 1.5 m
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 (8P8C), plated contacts
• Conductor material: copper
• Jacket color: yellow

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your source device (router, switch or modem) and the other connector into the target device (PC, NAS or access point). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep the run away from strong electromagnetic sources such as unshielded power cables or large motors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 cable for short, high-performance links where shielding and bandwidth are important. For longer runs or permanent building installations, consider structured copper cabling certified for the required distance and environment.
