Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-80107 25m Cat7 S/FTP oranje

The ShiverPeaks BS08-80107 25m Cat7 S/FTP Orange is a high-performance networking cable designed for reliable data transmission in demanding environments. Compliant with Cat7 specifications, this 25-meter cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and its bright orange jacket improves visibility for installation and cable management. The cable is suitable for structured cabling, backbone links, and connections where enhanced shielding and higher data rates are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to provide robust protection against external interference and internal pair-to-pair crosstalk. A 25-meter length offers flexibility in room-to-room or rack-to-rack installations without the need for additional couplers. The orange outer jacket makes the cable easy to identify in crowded cable runs and reduces the risk of accidental disconnection during maintenance. Cat7 performance supports higher bandwidths and improved signal integrity for modern networking applications.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links in offices, server rooms, and data centers
• Structured cabling installations and backbone connections
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference (EMI)
• Temporary or permanent runs where cable visibility is important

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 performance class
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil with individually shielded pairs
• Length: 25 meters
• Outer jacket color: Orange for high visibility
• Designed for high-bandwidth, low-interference data transmission

How to use

Route the cable along a planned path, avoiding sharp bends and areas of mechanical stress. Terminate with compatible Cat7 or backward-compatible RJ45 connectors or keystone jacks following standard wiring schemes. Ensure proper grounding of the cable shields at patch panels or chassis to maintain shielding effectiveness. Use cable management accessories such as trays or ties to secure the run and prevent strain on terminations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large electrical equipment. Verify connector and patch panel compatibility with Cat7 S/FTP construction, and test the installed link with appropriate network certification tools to confirm bandwidth and shielding integrity.
