Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS08-8203507 50m Cat7 S/FTP oranje

The ShiverPeaks BS08-8203507 50m Cat7 S/FTP Orange networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding wired networks. Built to Cat7 specifications with S/FTP shielding, this 50-metre cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for modern broadband, server and workstation connections that require stable, high-speed transmission. The bright orange jacket increases visibility for installation and routing, while the robust construction helps maintain signal integrity in busy home and office environments.

Advantages

Cat7 performance combined with S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, delivering consistent high-speed data transfer. The 50 m length covers long runs without additional couplers, and the durable outer sheath resists wear in typical installation scenarios. The cable's vivid orange colour improves cable identification and organization during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN links between switches, routers and servers
• Home and small-office wired internet connections
• Media streaming, gaming and large file transfers
• Structured cabling where visibility and easy identification are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 50 m
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: orange

How to use

Measure the required run and route the cable avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Terminate the cable with compatible RJ45 connectors or use factory-terminated ends and patch panels suited for Cat7 performance. Ensure proper grounding of shielded connectors and maintain recommended bend radius to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality. When routing through conduits or cable trays, allow for sufficient slack to prevent strain on terminations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use shielded RJ45 connectors and a properly grounded patch panel or metal outlet. Avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power cables over long distances; cross them at right angles if necessary. Regularly inspect terminations and the outer sheath for damage in high-traffic installation areas.
