Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75115-W 5m Cat5e F/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75115-W 5m Cat5e F/UTP networking cable is a white, shielded Ethernet cable designed for stable wired connections in home and office networks. It complies with Cat5e performance, uses F/UTP shielding to reduce external interference, and comes fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is suitable for common wired networking tasks where a reliable physical connection is required.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding provides additional protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, improving signal integrity in environments with potential sources of noise. The Cat5e specification ensures compatibility with fast Ethernet and Gigabit-capable networks at the supported data rate. A 5-meter length offers flexibility for typical desktop, router-to-switch, or home entertainment setups while the white jacket offers a neutral appearance that blends into most interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops or printers to a router, switch or modem
• Wired home networks and small office local area networks
• Linking network-enabled media devices such as smart TVs or networked storage
• Temporary cabling for meetings, presentations, or testing network equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding type: Foiled over Unshielded Twisted Pair (F/UTP)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet at specified conditions)
• Length: 5 meters
• Color: white

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device such as a router, switch, modem or network port on a PC, and plug the other end into the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension points; avoid placing it near strong electromagnetic sources if possible to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within typical indoor environments and avoid exposure to excessive heat, moisture, or mechanical strain. When deploying in areas with significant electromagnetic interference, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment and consider shielded connectors and infrastructure to complement the F/UTP cable shielding.
