Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75120-R rood 10 m Cat5e F/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75120-R Red 10m Cat5e F/UTP is a 10-metre Ethernet patch cable engineered for stable wired network connections. With Cat5e specification and F/UTP shielding, the cable supports data transfer at speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s and is equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its red jacket improves visibility and cable management in home, office, or shared infrastructure environments.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and improves signal integrity in mixed-cable installations. The Cat5e category ensures compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet networks while the 10 m length provides flexibility for typical desk-to-switch or equipment-to-router connections. A durable outer jacket and molded RJ-45 connectors provide reliable physical connection and ease of plugging and unplugging.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, printers or networked storage to routers or switches
• Cable runs in home offices and small business workspaces
• Color-coded installations where red marking identifies a specific circuit or function
• Temporary setups for events, presentations, or testing network equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e
• Length: 10 metres
• Shielding: F/UTP (overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum supported speed: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Outer jacket color: red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (router, switch or computer) and the other connector to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks for a secure contact. For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks along the cable run and keep the cable away from heavy electrical sources that may generate interference despite the shielding.

Recommendations

Use this F/UTP Cat5e cable for indoor installations and controlled environments. For long-term fixed cabling in walls or conduits, verify local installation codes and consider cables rated for in-wall use. Replace any cable showing visible damage to the jacket or connectors to maintain network reliability.
