Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75511-M 1m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-M 1m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable provides a short, high-performance connection for network devices. Built to Cat7 specifications with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 terminations with gold-plated contacts, the cable supports high data rates and reduces electromagnetic interference. Its 1 meter length is suitable for linking nearby equipment, and the magenta jacket offers a visible, color-coded option for organized cabling.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall braid plus individually shielded pairs) improves signal integrity in environments with potential EMI and crosstalk. The Cat7 specification supports higher bandwidth and more stringent performance margins than lower-category cables, useful where stable, high-throughput links are required. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance corrosion resistance and maintain reliable mating with connectors. The short 1 m length minimizes latency and signal attenuation for close-proximity connections, while the colored jacket simplifies identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and routers in rack or desktop setups
• Short-distance links between servers and network interface cards
• High-bandwidth applications such as NAS access, video streaming and large file transfer
• Cable-managed environments where color-coded cabling improves organization

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 performance class for high-frequency LAN applications
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braided shield plus individually shielded twisted pairs
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1 metre
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper conductor suitable for patching (consult product label for conductor type)
• Jacket color: magenta for easy visual identification

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port until the locking tab clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the 1 m cable to connect devices located close to each other, such as a switch to a server or a patch panel to a wall outlet. Avoid sharp bends or kinks that could stress the internal pairs; maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cabling. For rack installations, route the cable along cable management pathways to prevent strain on connectors and to keep airflow unobstructed.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable in combination with shielded network ports and properly grounded equipment to take full advantage of the shielding. Keep cable runs short where possible for minimal signal loss, and label both ends if used in installations where multiple colored cables are present.
