Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75511-SL0.5V violet 0,5 m Cat7 U/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-SL0.5V is a 0.5 m Cat7 U/FTP networking cable engineered for high-speed Ethernet connections. Its violet jacket and shielded twisted pair (U/FTP) construction reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, delivering stable data transfer for demanding applications. The cable terminates in two RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance while supporting bandwidths up to 600 MHz.

Advantages

The shielded U/FTP design provides improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity in crowded cable environments. Short 0.5 m length reduces latency and signal attenuation for direct device-to-device links or connections within cabinets. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer consistent electrical contact and better durability over repeated insertions.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between networking devices (switch-to-router, switch-to-server)
• High-bandwidth tasks such as 4K/8K streaming and online gaming
• Home and small-office structured cabling where interference protection is required
• Rack or cabinet internal connections where compact cables prevent clutter

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Category 7 (Cat7)
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector contacts plating: Gold
• Frequency support: up to 600 MHz

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your device and the other to the corresponding port on the switch, router, or modem. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and keep the cable run as short and direct as possible. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure a stable physical and electrical connection.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat7 U/FTP cable for direct device connections where interference is a concern or where a compact, high-bandwidth link is needed. Do not subject the cable to heavy pulling, crushing, or extended exposure to heat sources; store unused cables coiled without tight kinks to preserve shielding and connector integrity.
