Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75526-V Violett 20 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75526-Violet 20 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is designed for high-performance wired Ethernet connections. Built to support Gigabit and multi-gigabit networks, this Cat7 cable features S/FTP shielding and individually foil-wrapped pairs to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The cable terminates in RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to maintain consistent signal quality over longer runs. A vivid violet jacket provides visual identification in complex cabling environments while maintaining the flexibility needed for routing in home or office installations.

Advantages

S/FTP construction offers enhanced protection against external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, improving signal integrity for demanding network applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure corrosion resistance and stable contact conductivity. The 20 m length covers most typical runs between racks, routers, switches and desktop devices without introducing additional connection points. The violet outer jacket aids cable management and quick visual differentiation in multi-cable setups.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet connections
• Home network wiring and desktop connections
• Office network patching between switches, routers and workstations
• Audio/video streaming and gaming setups requiring stable low-latency links
• Structured cabling where color-coding simplifies identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP with individually foil-wrapped pairs and overall braid
• Length: 20 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Jacket color: Violet
• Conductor: Twisted pair copper

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device such as a switch, router or wall outlet and the other end to your computer, server or networked device. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and tight bundling with power cables to minimise interference and preserve shielding effectiveness. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties at intervals that do not compress the jacket or shielding.

Recommendations

Use the cable for runs up to 20 m within the same room or between adjacent rooms; for longer distances, consider in-line switches or different cabling options. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to unshielded mains wiring to maintain optimal performance. Periodically inspect connectors for dust or corrosion and ensure plugs are fully inserted to maintain reliable connections.
