Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.25S 0,25 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.25S 0.25m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a short patch lead intended for high-speed wired connections. Compliant with Cat6a performance parameters, the cable uses S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in black, the 0.25 metre length is suited for tidy connections between nearby devices in racks, workstations or home network setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides strong protection against external noise and pair-to-pair interference while maintaining Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet capability over short distances. The short 0.25 m form factor minimizes cable clutter and improves airflow in dense installations. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with network switches, patch panels, routers and network interface cards.

Suitable for

• Connecting devices in server racks or network cabinets where short patch leads are required
• Linking nearby desktop computers, switches and routers
• Home network setups where cable length must be minimal for tidy installation
• Testing or bench setups where short, reliable links are needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance class
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: black
• Data rates supported: suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until a click is felt. Use the cable to connect devices that are in close proximity, avoiding unnecessary bends or tight kinks which can affect electrical performance. If used in a rack or cabinet, route the cable along existing cable management paths to maintain airflow and reduce mechanical strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the cable run as short as possible and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors periodically for wear and replace the cable if the plug latch or outer jacket is damaged. Use multiple short patch leads like this one to maintain tidy and serviceable network layouts in dense installations.
