Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5R rood 1,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5R Red 1.5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a 1.5 metre patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and point-to-point connections. Conforming to Cat6a performance, the cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The bright red jacket makes the cable easy to identify in multi-cable installations and facilitates neat cable management.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides enhanced protection against external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, supporting stable throughput for high-bandwidth applications. The Cat6a specification enables reliable performance at higher frequencies compared with lower-category cables. A 1.5 metre length is suitable for short runs between devices, and the red outer jacket improves visual identification in racks, patch panels and desktop setups. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in small office and home networks
• Short data runs between computers, servers and networked devices
• Environments where cable identification and color coding is required
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP and file transfers

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 1.5 m
• Outer color: Red

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices, ensuring a firm click to confirm connection. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable and keep it separated from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use the cable for point-to-point connections such as from a switch to a workstation, or between a patch panel and network equipment within the same rack or desk area.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, route the cable with a minimum bend radius consistent with manufacturer guidelines, avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines, and choose color-coded cables like the red ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5R to simplify identification and maintenance in multi-cable installations.
