Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5S zwart 1,5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A1.5S Black 1.5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a reliable physical connection for high-speed local area network links. Designed to meet Cat6a performance, the cable supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short to medium distances and includes S/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors and the cable’s black jacket offers a neutral, professional appearance suitable for office racks, home networks, and equipment connections.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat6a specification ensures support for higher bandwidth and improved headroom compared with lower categories, while S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually braided shields around pairs to minimize alien crosstalk and external noise. The 1.5 meter length is convenient for connecting nearby devices without excess slack, and the RJ-45 terminations provide broad compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops or networked printers to switches or routers in small office or home setups
• Short patch runs in server cabinets and rack-mounted equipment where Cat6a performance is required
• Upgrading existing copper links to support higher throughput for multimedia streaming and data transfer
• Workstations and point-of-sale terminals that require stable, shielded connections

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a — supports 10GBASE-T over appropriate distances
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil shield with individually braided pair shields
• Length: 1.5 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Jacket color: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your device and the other plug to the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power transformers or heavy electrical equipment. For rack installations, use cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for links up to the recommended length for 10GBASE-T in typical structured cabling environments, avoid excessive bending radii, and maintain separation from high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace if pins or latches are compromised.
