Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-H-SET10 grijs 1 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-H-SET10 Grey 1 m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a 1-metre patch cable engineered for high-speed wired connections. Constructed to Cat6 standard with S/FTP (shielded overall braid plus individually foil-shielded pairs), it reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable data transmission. The cable terminates in gold-plated RJ-45 connectors on both ends and is finished in a neutral grey jacket suitable for home networks, office installations, server racks and professional AV setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved noise rejection compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with nearby power lines, switches or other cables. Gold-plated connector contacts offer reliable contact resistance and corrosion resistance for consistent performance over time. As a Cat6 cable rated for high throughput, it supports up to 10 Gbps at shorter runs and is backward compatible with older Ethernet standards.

Suitable for

• Home and office wired Ethernet connections
• Connecting routers, switches, PCs and networked media players
• Gaming and 4K/8K video streaming over wired LAN
• Patch panels and structured cabling within server racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Length: 1 metre
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port on your network devices until the clip clicks. Use the cable for direct device-to-device links such as PC-to-switch or switch-to-router connections, or as a patch lead between wall outlets and network equipment. Ensure bends in the cable are gentle and avoid sharp kinks; do not exceed the recommended bend radius for Cat6 cables. For best performance, keep the cable run away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for links up to 1 metre to take advantage of the full 10 Gbps capability at short distances. When installing in multi-cable bundles or near potential interference sources, maintain proper grounding of shielded components and avoid excessive bending or compression of the cable jacket.
