Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-HG-SET5 groen 1m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HG-SET5 Green 1m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet patch lead designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling and device connections. This 1 metre cable uses Category 6 specification and S/FTP shielding (foil-wrapped pairs with an overall braided shield) to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, the cable promotes consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance while the green jacket provides clear visual identification in dense cable installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding helps minimise crosstalk and external interference, improving performance in environments with nearby electrical equipment or bundled cables. The Cat6 rating supports Gigabit Ethernet and is suitable for many modern networking requirements. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and reduce oxidation over time, and the 1 metre length offers a compact connection option between patch panels, switches and devices. A coloured jacket simplifies cable management and quick identification during installation or maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within offices and home networks
• Patching between wall outlets and network equipment in structured cabling
• Short runs in server cabinets, racks and network closets
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually foil shielded pairs with overall braided shield)
• Length: 1 metre
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts
• Jacket colour: Green

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise. For best performance, avoid excessive tension and kinking; maintain bend radius recommended for Cat6 cabling during installation.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short fixed connections within racks or between nearby devices. When installing multiple cables, label both ends and separate power and high-noise equipment to preserve shielding effectiveness. Test links with appropriate network testers after installation to verify continuity and performance.
