Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75711-HR rood 1 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-HR Red 1 m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a one-metre Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. Constructed to Cat6 performance standards, it supports gigabit networks and provides improved signal integrity through S/FTP shielding. The cable terminates in RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent conductivity and reduced contact corrosion. Its red jacket offers clear visual identification in crowded cable runs while maintaining a compact, flexible form factor suitable for home and office installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Cat6 specification ensures support for higher frequencies and stable throughput for gigabit Ethernet and many multimedia applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve long-term contact reliability and lower contact resistance. The 1 m length limits excess cable clutter and is convenient for short interconnects between devices in racks, patch panels, or desktop setups. The red color aids in cable identification and organization.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers within a local area network
• Patching between wall outlets and network equipment in offices
• Short runs in server racks and telecommunications cabinets
• Home networking for gaming consoles, smart TVs and set-top boxes

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance
• Length: 1 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield + individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Cable jacket color: red
• Typical use: Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed LAN applications

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. For best signal quality, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep the cable run as short and direct as practical. When routing near sources of electrical noise, orient the cable to minimize parallel runs with power lines; the S/FTP shielding helps mitigate interference but proper routing improves overall performance. Use the 1 m length for direct device-to-device connections or for short patching within a cabinet or desk arrangement.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Cat6 S/FTP cable for short, high-reliability connections where minimal cable slack and clear color identification are important. Periodically inspect connector contacts for debris and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.
