Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75720-S 10m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75720-S 10m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable delivers a balanced combination of length and shielding for demanding Ethernet connections. This 10‑meter cable uses Cat6a specification and S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while RJ‑45 connectors with gold plating provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance. Its black jacket fits discreetly into residential and commercial environments and supports high‑speed data transfer for modern network setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with multiple electrical devices and cable bundles. Cat6a performance supports higher bandwidth and reduced packet loss compared with lower category cables. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts ensure stable connectivity over repeated insertions and long service life. The 10‑meter length provides flexibility for connecting devices across rooms without needing adapters or extenders.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, switches, and routers in home networks
• Office desk setups where reliable Gigabit or 10 Gigabit performance is required over short runs
• Audio/video streaming and online gaming where low latency and stable throughput are important
• Structured cabling in small server rooms and network closets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 10 meters
• Connector type: RJ‑45 male to RJ‑45 male
• Contact plating: Gold plated contacts
• Jacket color: Black
• Conductor arrangement: Twisted pair

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a switch, router, or wall outlet supporting structured cabling. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab clicks to guarantee a secure physical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, heavy compression, or proximity to high‑power electrical lines to maintain optimal shielding and signal performance. For fixed installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management clips or trays.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable within its 10‑meter length without chaining multiple runs together. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid excessive bending radii near connectors. When installing in mixed environments, maintain clear separation from mains power cables to preserve the S/FTP shielding effectiveness.
