Netwerkkabel M-Cab 3918 3m Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 5000 Mbit/s grijs

The M-Cab 3918 3m Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 networking cable by EFB Elektronik is a 3 metre patch cable designed for fast wired connections in residential and small office networks. Built to Cat6 specification with U/UTP construction and fitted with RJ-45 plug connectors on both ends, it supports data transfer speeds up to 5000 Mbit/s and provides a reliable electrical path between devices such as routers, switches, network cards and patch panels.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable combines a 3 m length and a slim grey jacket for easy routing and neat installations. The U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall unshielded) construction meets common Category 6 performance characteristics for reduced crosstalk and consistent signal transmission over typical LAN distances. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with widespread networking equipment, while the cable’s construction supports data rates up to 5000 Mbit/s suitable for high-bandwidth applications within the constraints of the installed network infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops or servers to switches and routers
• Linking network switches and patch panels in small office or home networks
• Use with networked printers, NAS devices and IP cameras
• Temporary or permanent patching within structured cabling at short runs

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Cable construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Maximum data rate: up to 5000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other to the router, switch or patch panel port. Ensure both connectors click into place and that connectors and ports are free of dust or obstructions before insertion. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, excessive stretching or running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use appropriate cable management such as clips or ties to maintain a tidy installation and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable for short to medium runs within a single room or between adjacent racks or outlets. Check that your network equipment supports the intended link speed and that overall cabling and device configuration match Cat6 performance expectations.
