Netwerkkabel EFB Elektronik EC020200215 RJ-45 Cat7 20 m blauw

The EFB Elektronik EC020200215 RJ-45 Cat7 20 m Blue networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It supports up to 10000 Mbit/s data transfer rates and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends feature RJ-45 connectors with gold plating for reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The 20 m length and blue jacket make it suitable for longer runs in residential or commercial network installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding structure provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables, maintaining signal integrity over longer distances. Cat7 specification enables higher bandwidth and stable throughput for demanding applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance durability and ensure consistent contact quality. The 20 m length offers flexibility in cable routing without the need for intermediate extenders, and the visible blue color helps with cable identification and organized installations.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections between routers, switches and desktop computers
• High-bandwidth applications such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet and streaming
• Home office setups and multimedia systems
• Structured cabling in small offices and server rooms

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends with gold plating
• Length: 20 m
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch or network interface) and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from heavy power cables or strong EMI sources to preserve signal quality. For wall or ceiling installations use appropriate clips or cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for runs up to 20 m and pair it with compatible Cat6A/Cat7-capable hardware. Test connections after installation and avoid kinking the cable to maintain shielding effectiveness and consistent throughput.
