Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75725-AR rood 15 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75725-AR Red 15m Cat6a S/FTP is a 15-metre network patch cable designed to deliver high-speed wired connectivity for home and office environments. Built to the Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high-bandwidth applications while reducing electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. Both ends are terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors and the cable's red jacket provides clear visual identification in patch bays, racks or under-desk runs.

Advantages

Cat6a specification ensures reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over the 15 m length. S/FTP shielding (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs) improves noise immunity in electrically noisy environments and helps maintain signal integrity. The factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors offer compatibility with a wide range of network equipment. The cable's red outer jacket aids in quick visual identification and organisation of network runs.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections within 15 m runs
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and large file transfers
• Server rooms, network racks and structured cabling where colour-coding is required
• Home offices and workstations requiring stable wired connectivity

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Length: 15 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Conductor type: stranded (flexible) copper conductors
• Colour: red jacket for easy identification
• Intended use: patch/patching cable for horizontal or equipment connections

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router, patch panel or computer) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For patch panel or rack installations, use cable management to maintain tidy runs and reduce strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the red colour to mark specific network segments or critical links. For longest lifespan and best performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii recommended for Cat6a cabling; keep the cable away from high-power electrical equipment to minimise potential interference.
