Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75725-AW 15m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75725-AW 15m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. With Cat6a performance and S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to maintain stable connections over a 15-meter run. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in white, it supports demanding network tasks where consistent throughput and signal integrity are required.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat6a specification provides support for higher data rates and wider bandwidth compared with earlier categories, while the S/FTP design offers enhanced protection against external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. The 15 m length allows flexible placement of networked equipment without additional extenders. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network ports and devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in home or office networks
• Wired connections for streaming, video conferencing and online gaming
• Backbone links between wall outlets and patch panels within a single room or office
• Environments where interference reduction and reliable throughput are important

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a, suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall shield with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 15 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 male on both ends
• Color: White

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the appropriate Ethernet ports on your devices—one end to the network source (router, switch or wall outlet) and the other to the target device (PC, console, access point or networked appliance). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click and avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable along its run. For best performance, keep the cable routed away from large power sources and unshielded electrical wiring to minimize possible interference.

Recommendations

For optimal reliability, use the cable within its specified length and avoid repeated flexing near the connector ends. When installing permanently, maintain gentle bend radii and secure the cable with cable management accessories without compressing the shielding. If used in a multi-cable bundle, maintain proper separation from high-voltage power lines.
