Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75725-AY 15m Cat6a S/FTP geel

The ShiverPeaks BS75725-AY is a 15 m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a yellow jacket for easy identification. Designed for high-speed data transfer and improved signal integrity, this cable supports applications that require higher bandwidth and reduced electromagnetic interference. The S/FTP (shielded/foil twisted pair) construction provides an overall braid plus individual foil shielding for each twisted pair, offering enhanced protection against crosstalk and external noise while maintaining flexible cable handling.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers stable performance at higher frequencies, lower crosstalk between pairs, and reduced susceptibility to EMI/RFI compared with unshielded alternatives. The 15 m length accommodates mid-range installations without the need for additional patching, and the bright yellow jacket improves visibility in dense cable runs. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure straightforward plug-and-play setup with compatible network equipment.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in home networks and office workstations
• Patch panel to switch or wall outlet connections in structured cabling
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP and large file transfer
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individual foil for each pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 15 metres
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, modem or PC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the receiving device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and proximity to power lines to preserve signal integrity. For structured installations, use appropriate cable management such as clips, trays or Velcro ties to maintain separation from unshielded power cables.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for links up to 15 m within the same room or rack; maintain proper grounding of shielded systems and avoid kinking the cable. If connecting through patch panels or keystone jacks, verify that those components are compatible with Cat6a shielded cabling to preserve shielding continuity.
