Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75726-HR rood 20 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75726-HR Red 20m Cat6 S/FTP is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired networking. This 20-metre Cat6 cable uses S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) construction and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to minimise electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs. The durable outer jacket and distinctive red colour make it easy to identify in cable bundles and patch panels in home, office or studio environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables, supporting stable data transmission at higher frequencies. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance contact reliability and resist corrosion for consistent connections. The 20 m length offers flexibility for routing between networking equipment without the need for additional couplers, while the visible red jacket simplifies cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for home networks and small offices
• Connecting switches, routers, modems and networked devices across rooms
• Structured cabling where reduced interference and clear identification are required
• Temporary or permanent installations in studios, server closets and meeting rooms

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 20 metres
• Conductor arrangement: twisted pairs
• Outer jacket colour: red

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the RJ-45 port on your network device and the other end to the corresponding port on a switch, router or modem. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to minimise sharp bends and avoid running parallel to power lines to reduce potential interference. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the jacket to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for applications that benefit from reduced electromagnetic interference, such as office networks, server connections and multimedia streaming. For optimal performance, pair with equipment and ports rated for Cat6 or higher and avoid kinking or tightly coiling the cable.
