Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75730-AR rood 30m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75730-AR Red 30m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a long, shielded connection designed for high-speed data transfer in home and office environments. Constructed to Cat6a specifications with S/FTP shielding, this 30-metre cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supports high-bandwidth applications and terminates in standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its red jacket improves visibility and routing identification in structured cabling setups.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers stable signal integrity across longer runs thanks to its augmented category rating and individual foil-plus-braid shielding. The cable’s 30 m length allows flexible placement of networking equipment without relying on intermediate patch panels. RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports, while the coloured outer sheath simplifies cable management and device identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in home or small office networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, video conferencing and large file transfers
• Structured cabling where reduced interference and clear cable identification are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individual foil around pairs)
• Length: 30 metres
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Red outer jacket for visibility and identification
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission up to Cat6a performance levels

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks. Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of your router, switch or computer until the connector latch clicks. For optimal performance keep the cable separated from strong electrical noise sources and avoid running parallel to power lines. When installing in racks or conduits, secure the cable with appropriate ties and maintain the minimum bend radius specified for Cat6a cables.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for runs up to the specified 30 m in environments where reduced interference is important. Test connections with a network tester after installation to verify continuity and performance. When integrating into structured cabling, label both ends and route separately from high-voltage cables to maintain signal quality.
