Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75730-H 30m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75730-H 30m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for stable, high-speed wired connections. This grey Cat6 cable offers S/FTP construction — an overall shield with individually foil-shielded pairs — to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, the cable supports reliable signal transmission for home, office, and light industrial networking environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding improves resistance to external interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain consistent data throughput over longer runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide corrosion resistance and low contact resistance for dependable connections. The 30 m length accommodates larger rooms or routed installations without the need for intermediate patch points, and Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and improved performance for Gigabit Ethernet networks.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections in homes and small offices
• Structured cabling between network switches, routers, and patch panels
• Audio/video streaming and video conferencing setups that require stable throughput
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 30 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey
• Supports: Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed data transmission

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch, or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable run; maintain gentle curves and secure the cable with clips or cable ties where necessary. For installations in areas with abundant electrical wiring or sources of interference, ensure proper grounding of shielded network equipment to maximize the benefit of S/FTP shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, route the cable away from high-voltage power lines and noisy electrical equipment. When used in a structured cabling system, test the link with a cable tester after installation to verify continuity and performance up to Cat6 standards.
