Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks BS75730-HG 30 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75730-HG 30m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections in home, office, and data center environments. This 30-metre Cat6 cable features S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to support stable data transmission and reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable's green jacket provides visual identification and a neat appearance when installed in network runs or patch panels.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individual foil shielding around each twisted pair, improving protection against external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts resist corrosion and promote consistent signal transfer. The Cat6 specification supports higher bandwidth and performance for Gigabit Ethernet and many common network applications. The 30m length covers medium-distance runs without additional couplers or extenders.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections for desktops, switches, routers and network-attached storage
• Office and home network cabling where reduced interference is required
• Patch panel to wall outlet connections and horizontal cabling runs
• Temporary or permanent installations requiring a visible colored cable for identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (suitable for Gigabit Ethernet)
• Length: 30 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on each pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: stranded or solid copper construction suitable for standard network installations
• Outer jacket color: green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (computer, switch, router or modem) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the opposite device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable away from high-voltage power lines and maintain gentle bends to avoid kinking; observe minimum bend radius guidelines for Cat6 cables. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories and avoid excessive pulling force when installing.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this S/FTP Cat6 cable in environments with potential electromagnetic interference, such as near power supplies, fluorescent lighting or dense cable bundles. Verify your network equipment supports Cat6 performance and test connections after installation using a network tester or software diagnostics to confirm link speed and signal integrity.
