Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat. 6 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat. 6 7.5m networking cable is a Category 6 U/UTP Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections over medium distances. With a 7.5 meter length and RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, the cable supports high-speed internet and stable data transfer between devices in home and office environments. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance that blends with most setups while protecting the internal twisted pairs and foil braid shielding.

Advantages

This Cat. 6 cable offers improved signal integrity and reduced interference thanks to its U/UTP construction and internal foil braid. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide enhanced conductivity and corrosion resistance for consistent contact over time. The 7.5 m length covers typical room-to-room runs without excess slack while maintaining performance suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-bandwidth applications. The cable's outer jacket balances flexibility and durability for everyday installation and repositioning.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops and network printers to routers or switches
• Linking network switches and patch panels in small office or home rack setups
• High-speed internet access for streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Temporary or permanent wired connections where stable latency and throughput are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6 (Category 6)
• Length: 7.5 meters
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall braid with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey
• Suitable maximum speed: Gigabit Ethernet (typically up to 1 Gbps depending on network gear)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the Ethernet port of your computer, gaming console or networked device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For wall or ceiling installations, use appropriate cable clips or conduit to secure the cable without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable in parallel alongside high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius larger than the connector width. Test connections after installation with network diagnostics to confirm link speed and stability. Replace the cable if physical damage to the jacket or connectors is observed.
