Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat. 6 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat. 6 7.5m networking cable provides a 7.5 meter connection for Ethernet devices, built with U/UTP shielding to reduce external interference and maintain stable data transmission. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cable’s black jacket offers a discreet, professional appearance suitable for home and office installations where a mid-range cable length is required.

Advantages

Designed for consistent performance, this Cat 6 cable supports high-speed data transfer and benefits from U/UTP shielding that helps protect signal integrity in environments with moderate electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors help maintain low contact resistance and long-term reliability. The 7.5 meter length covers typical room-to-router or desk-to-switch runs without excess cable slack, and the flexible black jacket simplifies routing and placement.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, laptops and network switches
• Connecting routers or access points to desktops and multimedia devices
• Home office wiring and small office network segments
• Temporary or semi-permanent cabling where mid-length runs are needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Length: 7.5 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded pairs with overall braid or foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Color: black
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet ports of the devices to be linked, ensuring a secure latch click. Route the cable along baseboards or through cable management channels to keep it tidy and avoid sharp bends that can stress the internal wires. When connecting network hardware, power down devices only if recommended by the device manufacturer; in most cases hot-plugging Ethernet cables is supported. Test the connection using the operating system network indicators or a network tester to confirm link speed and signal stability.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or near large appliances that generate electromagnetic interference. Use cable clips or tie mounts to secure runs and maintain bend radius greater than commonly recommended minimums for Cat 6. If you require longer runs or are installing in high-interference environments, consider shielded or higher-category cabling matched to your network equipment.
