Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.7 slank 0,25 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 Slim 0.25m networking cable is a short patch lead engineered for compact setups and high-speed local connections. With U/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 plugs, the cable is intended to minimize electromagnetic interference and maintain stable signal transmission in congested wiring environments. Its 0.25 metre length and slim profile make it suitable for linking equipment in cramped racks, wall outlets, or desktop clusters where space is limited.

Advantages

The cable’s U/FTP construction provides pair-level foil shielding beneath an overall jacket to reduce crosstalk and external noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance for repeated insertions. The slim, low-profile jacket eases routing through tight gaps and behind equipment while retaining the mechanical durability expected from a Cat.7-rated lead. The bright yellow jacket improves visual identification in patch panels or cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network switches, routers, and servers in racks
• Connecting desktop devices to wall-mounted Ethernet ports in compact workstations
• Interlinking equipment in AV racks and media closets where space is restricted
• Temporary or permanent connections in structured cabling where a short, identifiable lead is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Category 7 (Cat.7) performance for high-frequency transmission
• Shielding type: U/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.25 m
• Jacket: slim, low-profile design for tight routing
• Color: yellow for easy visual identification

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 plugs into the Ethernet ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring the connector latches fully into place. Use the 0.25 m lead to bridge short distances between adjacent ports in switches, patch panels, or between a device and a nearby wall outlet. Route the slim cable along existing cable paths or behind hardware, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension to preserve shielding integrity and connector seating. For best results, connect when devices are powered off or when network activity is minimal to confirm link negotiation and speed settings without data loss.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power conductors for long distances and maintain gentle bend radii. Use the slim 0.25 m lead where short, clearly visible connections are required; for longer runs, select appropriately rated cable lengths. Inspect connectors periodically for debris and ensure firm seating in RJ-45 jacks to preserve signal quality.
