Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP plat 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP Slim 7.5m networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office networks. It conforms to Cat.7 wiring standards and uses U/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference. The slim jacket and flexible construction make routing through tight spaces and cable management easier, while RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide consistent signal transfer and corrosion resistance. The cable is 7.5 meters long and finished in a vibrant yellow for easy identification and visual organization.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding improves protection against electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, helping maintain stable high-speed data transmission. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance connectivity durability and electrical contact reliability. The slim profile reduces bulk in cable bundles and simplifies installation in confined conduits or behind furniture. The bright yellow jacket aids cable tracing and network labeling without additional markers.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections between switches, routers, and networked devices
• Home and small office LAN installations requiring reduced interference
• Structured cabling runs where a slim cable profile improves routing
• Patch panels and wall-mounted outlets in data cabinets and racks

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7 performance class
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 meters
• Cable profile: slim, flexible jacket for tight routing
• Color: yellow for visual identification

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, or computer) and the other plug to the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click confirms engagement. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and maintain a minimum bend radius as recommended by standard cabling practice to preserve signal integrity. When routing, separate high-voltage power cables where possible to minimize potential interference.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat.7 U/FTP cable for short- to medium-length horizontal and patch runs in environments where electromagnetic interference may affect network stability. Inspect connectors for debris before installation and avoid kinking the cable. Combine with properly rated network equipment and compliant patch panels to ensure end-to-end Cat.7 performance.
