Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP slank 1,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP Slim 1.0m networking cable is a slim, fully shielded cable designed for high-speed wired connections. With RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts and U/FTP construction, the cable supports high bandwidths up to 600 MHz and offers reduced crosstalk and external interference. Its 1.0 m length and narrow diameter make it suitable for neat installations where space is limited while maintaining performance required for demanding network tasks.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding around each pair provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference and alien crosstalk, contributing to stable throughput and lower error rates. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance for longer contact life. The slim profile simplifies routing in cable channels, behind equipment racks, or between wall outlets and devices without significantly sacrificing mechanical durability or signal quality.

Suitable for

• Short runs between switch and workstation or patch panel
• Home or office setups with limited cable routing space
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD video streaming and large file transfers
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7 U/FTP
• Length: 1.0 m
• Bandwidth: up to 600 MHz
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Construction: shielded pairs (U/FTP)
• Design: slim profile for tight spaces

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to an RJ-45 port on a network device such as a switch, router or network interface on a PC, and the other end to the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the slim cable through available channels, maintaining gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks. For shielded performance, ensure connected equipment and patch panels provide proper grounding if required by the installation.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor use and short interconnects; avoid excessive tensile stress and keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines to minimize interference. For optimal performance in shielded installations, verify grounding continuity at patch panels or shielded connectors.
