Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP slank 1,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP Slim 1.0m networking cable provides a compact solution for high-speed wired connections. Engineered with U/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 1.0 meter cable is intended to deliver stable data transfer while occupying minimal space. The slim jacket and thin cross-section simplify routing through cable channels and behind equipment. The cable’s yellow color allows easy identification within multi-cable installations.

Advantages

U/FTP shielding around twisted pairs reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity for demanding network environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance conductivity and resist corrosion, supporting consistent contact over repeated insertions. The slim-profile design eases cable management in cramped racks, patch panels, or behind wall-mounted devices while maintaining Category 7 performance characteristics for high-bandwidth applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices where a short, high-performance copper link is required
• Patching between switches and patch panels in data cabinets with limited space
• Home or office setups needing a low-profile cable that is easy to route
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 1.0 meter
• Connector type: 8P8C (RJ-45) with gold-plated contacts
• Cable profile: slim / low-profile jacket for tight routing
• Color: yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your device and the other to a compatible network port such as a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure a stable electrical contact. Route the cable along existing cable paths or through cable management channels to avoid sharp bends; maintain gentle bend radii to preserve the twisted-pair geometry and shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.7 U/FTP cable for short-point-to-point links within cabinets or between nearby devices. Avoid tight kinks and keep the cable away from strong sources of heat. When connecting to equipment, confirm port compatibility and ensure the surrounding environment does not exceed recommended installation temperatures.
