Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP slank 15,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP Slim 15.0m networking cable is a 15-metre Ethernet lead designed for high-speed data transmission and reliable wired connections. Constructed with individually shielded twisted pairs and an overall drain to reduce electromagnetic interference, this U/FTP cable provides stable performance for modern networks. The slim design and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors facilitate easy routing through confined spaces while maintaining consistent contact quality for long-term use.

Advantages

This Cat.7 U/FTP Slim cable combines individual foil shielding per pair with a compact cable diameter to offer improved noise immunity without the bulk associated with traditional shielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure low contact resistance and corrosion resistance. The 15.0 m length provides flexibility in equipment placement and reduces the need for intermediate patch panels or adapters. The construction supports high data rates and helps maintain signal integrity across longer runs in home and office environments.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and PCs in home or small office networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming and file transfers
• Installations where cable routing must pass through cable ducts, behind furniture or under floors
• Environments requiring improved protection from electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Category 7 (Cat.7)
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded jacket with foil-shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 15.0 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs, gold-plated contacts
• Cable profile: slim/low-profile design for tight routing
• Intended use: Ethernet networking for high-speed data transmission

How to use

Plug one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the network port of the router, switch or modem and the other connector into the target device such as a PC, NAS or networked printer. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the latch. Route the slim cable through wall cavities, cable conduits or around furniture as required; avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force during installation. If connecting to patch panels or keystone jacks, verify compatibility with RJ-45 terminations and keep cable runs within recommended lengths for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines over long distances to minimize potential interference. Maintain gentle bend radii and secure the cable with clips or cable ties without compressing the jacket. Periodically inspect connector ends for debris and replace the cable if physical damage or persistent connectivity issues are observed.
