Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP slank 15,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP Slim 15.0m networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission over a 15 meter run. Constructed with U/FTP shielding, individual pairs are wrapped to reduce crosstalk and external interference, while the slim round jacket provides easier routing in tight spaces. The cable terminates in RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure stable electrical contact and reduced oxidation. The yellow jacket improves visibility in installations and helps with cable identification in crowded racks or wiring runs.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding improves signal integrity and reduces electromagnetic interference, supporting stable connections in environments with nearby sources of noise. Slim cable construction enables more flexible installation and neater cable management compared with thicker industrial cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer reliable conductivity and longer contact life. The 15.0 m length accommodates connections between equipment across medium-sized rooms or between adjacent network cabinets without the need for additional patching.

Suitable for

• High-speed local area network connections (office or home)
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels within server rooms or wiring closets
• Multimedia streaming and VoIP where reduced interference is required
• Structured cabling runs that require color-coded identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7
• Shielding type: U/FTP (overall unshielded with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 15.0 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: Slim round design for flexible routing
• Color: Yellow

How to use

Route the cable from the network device to the target port, avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress. Insert the RJ-45 connector fully into the device port until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. For permanent structured cabling, support the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories and maintain recommended bend radii to preserve signal performance. When connecting to patch panels or switches, label both ends to simplify future maintenance and troubleshooting.

Recommendations

Use the cable for in-room and rack-to-rack connections where Cat.7 performance and pair shielding will help maintain throughput in electrically noisy environments; avoid running the cable in parallel and in close proximity to high-voltage power lines to minimize potential interference and maintain optimal signal quality.
