Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP slank 2,0m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP Slim 2.0m networking cable is a two-meter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It uses U/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity over short to medium runs. The cable is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and comes in a vivid yellow jacket for easy identification and tidy cable management.

Advantages

The slim construction offers flexible routing in tight spaces while maintaining the shielding required for Cat.7 performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The U/FTP shielding around individual pairs plus an overall foil shield reduces crosstalk and external noise, supporting stable data transmission at higher frequencies compared with lower-category cables. The 2.0 m length is suitable for connecting devices across desks, between network switches and wall outlets, or within rack cabinets where short patch leads are needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops and gaming consoles to a router or switch
• Short patch runs in small office and home network installations
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD streaming and online gaming
• Wiring within network cabinets or tight cable channels

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7
• Shielding type: U/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 2.0 m
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Construction: slim, flexible jacket for tight routing
• Color: yellow

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the slim cable along desks, cable channels or behind equipment as needed; avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling to maintain performance and prevent damage to the internal shielding. For installations in racks or conduits, secure the cable with appropriate ties or clips without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.7 U/FTP slim cable for short to medium links where reduced interference and a compact profile are required. For distances beyond typical LAN patch lengths or for environments with extreme EMI, consider using permanent structured cabling rated for the installation length and conditions.
