Netwerkkabel shiverpeaks Cat.7 U/FTP slank 3,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP slim networking cable, 3.0 m in length, provides a high-performance wired connection for home and office networks. It is fitted with RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent electrical contact and reduce oxidation. The U/FTP construction (overall unshielded with individually foil-shielded pairs) reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting stable high-speed data transmission while its slim outer diameter facilitates routing in confined channels and behind furniture.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat.7 performance with a slim profile, offering improved bandwidth and noise immunity compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Individual pair foil shielding minimizes near-end and far-end crosstalk, which helps maintain signal integrity over the full 3.0 m length. The flexible sheath and reduced diameter make it easier to install through cable ducts, wall holes and tight office setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and patch panels in home and small office networks
• High-speed wired connections for PCs, NAS devices and media players
• Installation where space is limited or cables must be routed through narrow conduits
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference for stable transfers

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7
• Shielding type: U/FTP (overall unshielded, each pair foil-shielded)
• Length: 3.0 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: Multi-strand copper (flexible for routing)
• Outer profile: Slim / reduced diameter for tight spaces

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the device requiring a wired connection, such as a PC or NAS. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable through cable management channels or conduits as needed, taking care not to sharply bend or pinch the cable near the connector ends. For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and keep cable runs within recommended lengths for your network hardware.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Cat.7 U/FTP slim cable for short to medium length runs where reduced interference and a compact cable profile are required. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices after installation, and replace cables showing physical wear or damaged connectors to maintain reliable network performance.
