Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP slank 5,0 m

The ShiverPeaks Cat.7 U/FTP Slim 5.0m networking cable provides a reliable wired connection for high-speed data transmission over a 5-metre reach. This blue Cat.7 cable uses U/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference and is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. Its slim jacket makes the cable easier to route through tight spaces and cable channels in home or office environments while maintaining performance expected from Category 7 cabling.

Advantages

The U/FTP construction combines an overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs to minimise electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact conductivity and reduce oxidation, supporting consistent throughput. The slim profile reduces bulk, simplifies installation in tight conduits and behind furniture, and helps keep cable runs tidy without sacrificing performance typical for Cat.7 specifications.

Suitable for

• Wired gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet connections in homes and small offices
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS devices and desktop PCs
• Structured cabling where low-profile cables are required
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall foil + individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 5.0 metres
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Design: Slim jacket for reduced diameter and easier routing
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the target device such as a PC, NAS or smart TV. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable; maintain gentle curves and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible. If running the cable through conduits or behind walls, verify compliance with local installation rules.

Recommendations

For stable high-speed links, pair this Cat.7 U/FTP slim cable with compatible networking equipment supporting gigabit or multi-gigabit Ethernet. Keep cable lengths within recommended distances for Ethernet standards and avoid routing alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference.
