Netwerkkabel ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patchkabel 08-35076

ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable 08-35076 is an unshielded Category 7 network patch lead designed for short-run Ethernet connections in offices, data closets and home networks. Terminated with standard RJ45 connectors, this cable supports high-speed data transmission over structured cabling setups and is suitable for connecting switches, routers, patch panels and network devices where Cat 7 performance is required without additional shielding.

Advantages

The cable provides improved performance compared with lower category patch leads by supporting higher frequency ranges associated with Cat 7 specifications while maintaining the flexibility and simplicity of an unshielded design. Standard RJ45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment, and the construction allows easy routing in cable trays and behind racks for tidy installations. The cable's design balances signal performance and ease of handling for typical short-distance connections within a building.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in local area networks
• Short-run horizontal cabling in offices and data closets
• Home network connections requiring higher-category cabling
• Temporary or permanent patching between network devices

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 7 (unshielded, U/UTP)
• Connector type: RJ45 terminated on both ends
• Application: Ethernet patching for LAN equipment
• Typical use length: short-run / in-building connections
• Conductors: twisted pair design for reduced crosstalk

How to use

Route the ShiverPeaks Cat 7 U/UTP RJ45 patch cable between network ports on switches, routers, patch panels or wall outlets, ensuring connectors are fully inserted until they click. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to preserve signal integrity; maintain recommended bend radii and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources where possible. For structured cabling, document endpoints and label both ends to simplify future maintenance.

Recommendations

For best results in in-building deployments, use this U/UTP Cat 7 patch cable for short horizontal links and patching within racks or closets. If installations run alongside heavy electrical wiring or in environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider shielded alternatives or proper separation to maintain optimal performance.
